Day in town

Walked in to the centre of Paris today, only would have taken about half an hour if we didn't have a hundred things to look at on the way.  Spent some time at the town Hall, watching the tennis display.  Decided to climb to the top of the Nortre dame Towers.  Stood in line for about an hour but it was well worth the wait.  Close views of Paris from on top of the cathedral and not too far to climb.  Pam is no longer scared of heights!!!  Spent a bit of time in the island in the middle of the Seine where the cathedral is built, one reason was we got lost...Pam will tell you I got lost...it's just i wanted to walk past the Police Station 3 times OK!!!  Visited the Sainte Chapelle where there are stained glass windows about 30 metres tall, not good photos but trust me...they were beautiful.  Wandered home after walking miles today, maybe a slow last day in Paris tomorrow before we leave for London
Tennis display in the town square.
