First day in London

Went and saw the staff at the desk of our units this morning to see if we could get a bigger room.  No problem, moved down to the basement.  All sorted out, time to do the tourist thing.  Overcast and cold day, lets hope the rain stays away.
First up catch a big red double decker bus for the tour of London.  Best way for the unsuspecting tourist to get a good fast look at the landscape of the city.  Went past all the big name attractions and whet our appetite to get going on our own.  Part of the red bus tour included a cruise down the Thames to Greenwich.   Nice cruise, got off at Greenwich and went up to see what the time was.  Fancy that, the clock was maintaining perfect Greenwich Mean Time.
Big day, long walks, ending with another long walk home to how small...but bigger room.

All set to go
