Roland Garros

Tennis today - the French Open at Roland Garros.  Caught the Metro then a short walk to the complex.  We had bought tickets a couple of months ago to the centre court (Philippe Chatrier) so we had guaranteed seats. It was a fun day, nice weather to start with and it just got colder and colder.  We saw Andy Murray beat Potiti Starace and Alize Cornet win.  The last match we watched was Josselin Ouanna play Marat Safin, we were so cold we left in the 5th set when it was about 2 all, Ouanna ended up winning 10-8 in the 5th...too cold for us!!!!  Pam bought a jacket at about lunch time but even that wasn’t sufficient to stop the frost bite.  They have a great complex there with international foods and plenty of activities and display tents.  Should have bought tickets for two days....next time.  Got home and had a long hot shower.  We’ll know to take jumpers next time.

Ready to shop...for a jacket
