The plans

Lots of discussion and we have a plan.  France and London.  Being our first big overseas trip we have decided on a short (2 week) tour around France then we will be let loose in Paris for 10 days followed by a week in London.  Leaving on the 10th May 2009 and returning on 13th June.  This is the plan...we hope.

13th to 25th May - Cosmos - 14 day Grand Tour of France -









25th May – Train from Hotel to Rue d’Aboukir Apartments. Rue d’Aboukir, Paris.
26th May – Eiffel Tower and Dome Church
27th May – Tennis French Open – Philippe Chatrier Court– Train to Roland Garros
28th May - Shopping
29th May – The Lourve, Fountain of Innocents, Jardin des Tuileries
30th May – Champs Elysees (Arc de Triomphe), La Madeleine church, Tuileries, Concorde
31st May – Montmartre – Sacre Coeur Cathedral
1st June - Musee d’Orsay, Notre Dame, Pantheon
2nd June – Versailles
3rd June – Free day
4th June – leave Paris 12.20pm – fly to London 12.40pm Apartments – 39 Queensborough Tce, Bayswater, London
5th June – Hop on – hop off bus tour of London – Covent Gardens, Westminster Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, 
St James Park, Buckingham Palace, Downing Street
6th June – Saturday markets – Notting Hill, Portobello Road Markets, London Eye,
7th June – 3 day London pass - Thames cruise, Tower of London and Crown Jewels, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe
8th June - 3 day London pass – Kensington palace, Royal Albert Hall, St Pauls Cathedral, Churchill Museum, Tate Britain
9th June - 3 day London pass – Wimbledon tour, Chelsea Football Stadium tour
10th June – Free day
11th June – Lords, Abbey Road, Madame Tussauds, Regents Park
12th June - 11.55am – leave London
